Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before downloading, installing, or using the LaptopSeal software (“the Software”). By installing or using the Software, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.

1. About the Software

LaptopSeal is a Windows desktop diagnostic application created and owned by Light Ideas Technology (“we”, “us”, “our”), based in Lagos, Nigeria. The Software performs hardware and system checks on a laptop and produces a diagnostic report describing the laptop’s condition at the time of testing.

3. License and Use

• The Battery module is provided free of charge.
• Access to all 15 modules requires a paid license. A Single license (₦2,000) works on one laptop. Reseller licenses work on multiple laptops — 5 laptops (₦8,000), 20 laptops (₦30,000), or unlimited laptops (₦60,000).
• All licenses last 30 days from purchase. After 30 days the license expires and the Software returns to the free Battery-only mode until a new license is activated.
• A Single license key is locked to the first laptop it is activated on. A reseller key may be activated on up to its laptop limit; once the limit is reached it cannot be used on additional laptops.
• You may not share, resell, sublicense, or distribute your license key or the Software without our written permission.
• You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to bypass the licensing of the Software.

4. Payments

Payments are processed securely through Paystack. We do not store your card details. Once payment is confirmed, a license key is issued to you on screen and by email. You are responsible for keeping your license key safe.

5. Refunds

Because LaptopSeal is a digital product delivered instantly, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you experience a genuine problem with your purchase, contact us on WhatsApp at +234 816 944 1990 and we will review your situation fairly.

6. What the Software Checks — and What It Does Not Promise

We are transparent about what LaptopSeal does: it reads real data directly from the laptop’s hardware and operating system (such as battery health, storage S.M.A.R.T data, CPU and temperature readings, connected ports, wireless adapters, and Windows status) and reports what it finds at the time of testing.

However, you understand and agree that:

• The results describe the condition of the laptop at the time of testing only.
• We do not guarantee against future failure. No diagnostic tool can predict or guarantee how a laptop will behave later. A component that passes today may still fail in the future due to age, use, or unforeseen faults.
• Some readings depend on the laptop’s own sensors and firmware. Where a laptop does not provide a particular sensor, the Software indicates that data is unavailable rather than guessing.
• LaptopSeal is a diagnostic aid to support your decisions. It is not a warranty, insurance, or guarantee on any laptop.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Light Ideas Technology shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost, or claim arising from:

• Decisions you make to buy, sell, or price a laptop based on the Software’s results;
• Any future failure of a laptop that previously passed a diagnostic;
• Loss of data, profit, or business;
• Any inability to use the Software due to internet, hardware, operating-system incompatibility, or third-party service issues.

You use the Software and its results at your own discretion and risk, and you remain responsible for your own business decisions.

8. Intellectual Property

The Software, its design, code, name, and branding are the property of Light Ideas Technology. Buying a license grants you the right to use the Software — it does not transfer any ownership to you.

9. Windows and Microsoft Office

LaptopSeal reports whether Windows and Microsoft Office are installed and activated, and can help install software through its App Store and (where available) Microsoft’s official Office installer. It does not activate, crack, or bypass any Microsoft licensing. Activating Windows or Office with a genuine product key is your responsibility.

10. Updates

We may release updates to improve or fix the Software. While a license is active, updates are provided at no extra cost and may install automatically. We are not obliged to maintain or support older versions.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the Software after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
