What is LaptopSeal?
LaptopSeal is a Windows desktop application that runs a complete 15-module health check on any laptop. It reads the real condition of the battery, storage, processor, graphics, memory, screen, ports and more, then produces a clear “Tested and Confirmed” report.
It is built for laptop dealers and refurbishers who need to know exactly what they are selling — and for buyers who want proof of a laptop’s condition before they pay.
Before You Start
System Requirements
- A laptop running Windows 10 or Windows 11
- Administrator access (the app needs this to read hardware sensors)
- An internet connection (for activation and updates)
⚠ Windows Only. LaptopSeal runs on Windows only (Windows 10 and Windows 11). It does not work on macOS (MacBooks), Linux, ChromeOS, phones, or tablets. Make sure you are installing it on a Windows laptop.
Installing LaptopSeal

On a Windows laptop, go to lightideastechnology.com.ng/laptopseal

Click “Download Free” to download the installer (LaptopSeal_Setup.exe)

Double-click the downloaded file to install it

A LaptopSeal shortcut will appear on your desktop

Double-click the shortcut to launch the app
If Windows Shows a Security Warning
Because LaptopSeal is from a new publisher, Windows may show a blue “Windows protected your PC” message the first time you run it. This is normal and the app is safe. Simply click “More info”, then click “Run anyway” to continue.
When you launch LaptopSeal, it opens in your web browser at a local address (127.0.0.1:5000). This is normal — the app runs on your own laptop, not on the internet. Your data never leaves your machine.
Free Version vs Full Version
LaptopSeal gives you the full Battery module completely free, forever. To unlock the other 14 modules, you need a license.

Getting a License
Step 1 — Buy
- Open the app and click any locked module (or the “Unlock” button)
- Click “Buy a License” — this opens our website
- Choose your plan (Single or a Reseller plan) and pay securely with Paystack
- After payment you will see your license key on screen — and receive a copy by email
Step 2 — Activate
- Copy your license key
- Go back to the LaptopSeal app
- On the Unlock page, paste the key and click “Activate License”
- All 15 modules unlock for 30 days
A Single license works on one laptop. Reseller keys work on multiple laptops (5, 20 or unlimited) with one key — the app shows you how many laptop slots you have used. All plans last 30 days, then renew.
Running a Diagnostic

Launch LaptopSeal from the desktop shortcut

Click “Start Diagnostic” to run all modules automatically, or click any single module to test just that part

Each module scans and shows a clear Pass / Warning / Fail result with details

When finished, open the Final Report for the complete “Tested and Confirmed” summary

The App Store
LaptopSeal includes a built-in App Store that lets you install common apps (browsers, media players, PDF readers, utilities and more) on a freshly set-up laptop with one click. The app list is kept up to date automatically, so download links stay working.
Updates
LaptopSeal updates itself automatically. When a new version is available and your license is active, the app will offer to update on launch. You never need to reinstall manually.
When Your License Expires
After 30 days, the full modules lock and the app returns to the free Battery-only mode. To continue using all 15 modules, simply buy and activate a new license.
Troubleshooting
The app opens but some readings show “No data”
Make sure you launched LaptopSeal using its desktop shortcut (not by opening the .exe directly). The shortcut starts the hardware-reading helper that some sensors need.
My license key says “limit reached”
A Single key works on one laptop; reseller keys work on a set number. If you have used all your laptop slots, the key will not activate on a new one until you renew or upgrade. Contact us on WhatsApp if you believe this is an error.
GPU temperature shows “Shared” on a gaming laptop
Laptops with switchable graphics power the dedicated GPU off when idle. Run something that uses the GPU (a video or game) and check again.
Windows says the app is from an unknown publisher
This is normal for new software. Click “More info” then “Run anyway”. LaptopSeal is safe and does not modify your files.
